Tinsel Gallery, representing a number of South Africa’s best contemporary jewellers, was ready to depart in March for Germany’s Frame 2020 fair when the event was cancelled because of coronavirus concerns. It had been the first gallery from Africa to be invited to exhibit at this prestigious event, and was due to present work by Liz Loubser, Carine Terreblanche, and Mariambibi Khan, among others.
