This holiday season, as the world celebrates the joy of togetherness once more, Moët & Chandon will flow in more than 20 cities around the globe as the famed French champagne house hosts bespoke fêtes in London, Paris, Madrid and more.

Here in SA, the brand will be bringing festive glamour to the City of Gold as it unveils the Moët & Chandon Golden Tree in Sandton’s Nelson Mandela Square.

Golden baubles reminiscent of the effervescent bubbles in a flute of Moët & Chandon champagne will adorn the tree’s exterior. While the interior will open to offer you an immersive — and Instagram-worthy — experience: 1,400 Moët & Chandon bottles have been crafted into a show-stopping chandelier that hangs above a champagne cork floor.

Zozibini Tunzi, global humanitarian and Miss Universe 2019, will lend some of her sparkle to the Moët & Chandon Golden Tree opening ceremony*, which is taking place at 6:30pm on November 25.

You can also expect an iconic Moët & Chandon Toast to a Cause and a surprise musical performance by one of SA’s most esteemed international artists.

Though the opening ceremony promises to be an unforgettable experience, the Moët & Chandon Golden Tree will continue to form the centrepiece of celebrations at Nelson Mandela Square until January 3 2022.

Restaurants will be offering Moët & Chandon Golden Tree specials from the launch night until December 27, while a Moët & Chandon pop-up store will be open daily from 12pm until 6pm until December 23. Whether you’re shopping for spoils for yourself or someone else, you can have your purchases personalised on site.

“If the last two years have taught us anything, it’s the importance of acknowledging our friends and families, daily moments that matter and toasting to today,” says David White, Moët Hennessy general manager of Southern Africa.

“The Moët & Chandon Golden Tree will bring the spirit of celebration and festive joy to SA, as only Moët & Chandon can.”
