Aesthetic bliss with AfriCandy Design Emporium
Chris van Niekerk, principal architect at The Fold Architecture, is the genius behind Africandy, SA’s finest online design emporium. Van Niekerk, along with three partners, launched the Africandy online retail store in 2012 with a vision to showcase the premium furniture and lifestyle products manufactured within the country. He says Africandy was established as “a means to galvanise the condition of South African product design as a resource dissimilar from its European counterparts and make it freely available worldwide on an online platform”.
