Street Style 2020
Seven notes we’re taking from the street style at London Fashion Week AW/2020
London’s ready-to-wear collections might have turned heads on the runway but here are some of the equally stunning street looks from the show
Known for its explorative and innovative runway shows, with a focus on young designers, London Fashion Week’s Fall 2020 collections were a force to be reckoned with, from up-and-comers to seasoned designers.
Here are a few of the unforgettable looks served up by the kings and queens of streetwear.
1. WE HEART LACY SUMMER DRESSES
Do you have a perfect summer dress which you just can’t bear to put away, even when it gets cold? It needn't be reserved just for summer — pair with boots and a jacket for out-of-season wear.

2. LONG LIVE THE ’80S
With nostalgia proving to be a formidable force in what people buy, the ’80s are a macro trend which has been popping up wherever we turn. A detailed shoulder is a fun new way to rock ’80s fashion.

3. MAD FOR MONOCHROME
Whether it’s black and white or black and beige, fashionistas are marrying contrasting colours on chic boots and coats.
4. IT’S A PEEP-TOE PARTY
There were a number of peep-toes at the Erdem show and even Naomi Campbell was seen rocking the style at a Burberry show.
5. SWOONING OVER SOFT PALETTES
We love the retro pale palettes that crept up on London’s Fashion Week streets. From coats to hair, there is always a way of rethinking this feminine approach to colour blocking.
6. BROWN IS THE NEW BLACK
Brown was a dominant colour for this year’s street looks, whether worn by itself or paired with other colours and textures.

7. CUTE NOVELTIES
Novelty pieces provided a fun way to make an outfit pop, from cute miniature straight caps used as bags to an oversized bobby pin adding a quirky touch to a feminine puffer jacket.
