The Big Bang Integral Ceramic — the first of Hublot’s iconic Big Bang models to feature an integrated bracelet — exploded onto the timepiece scene last year.

Originally launched in black, it’s now available in three new colours: white, navy blue and grey.

Bar the composite bezel lugs and the rubber elements used on the crown and pushers for added comfort, this striking timepiece is made entirely from ceramic — a hi-tech material that’s become one of the Swiss watchmaker’s signatures.

Ceramic is prized for being both durable and lightweight; it’s two to three times harder than steel and 30% lighter. It’s also scratch-resistant and hypoallergenic. This, together with the fact that ceramic is softer to the touch than metal and has a low thermal conductivity, makes the Big Bang Integral Ceramic a delight to wear.

It’s also a delight to look at with its sleek monobloc architecture — a design in which the first link of the bracelet is fused with the 42mm case.

The bracelet itself features three links — one central and two lateral — in a combination of polished and satin finishes for added depth and contrast.

The Big Bang Integral Ceramic is powered by Hublot’s Unico 2 movement, which has a 72-hour power reserve.

An updated, thinner version of its pioneering predecessor, the Unico, this 100% automatic chronograph movement boasts four new technological innovations: an oscillating seconds clutch, a chronograph friction system with ballbearing adjustment, a ratchet retaining system with unidirectional gears and an index-assembly fine adjustment system.
