The Bespokery Bistro
Parkview’s The Bespokery is packing their delicious Mediterranean-inspired small plates that which cater to a host of restrictive diets. The call-and-collect offering features four menus comprising five or six small plates and include their scrumptious confit lamb shoulder, white balsamic pork belly and, for those with a plant-based inclination, black-bean quinoa koftas. As with their dine-in offering these menus are best when shared or, if you’re locked down alone, each should be enough for two hearty meals at least.

Aurum Restaurant
Those wanting a touch of glamour to their takeouts need look no further than Sandton’s Aurum restaurant. The trendy eatery is serving an exquisite and extensive selection sure to make any meal a memorable one. From their signature premium offerings — decadent prawn risotto, tender peppercorn fillet and iconic Aurum “magnum” — to the more relaxed Octo menu (pizza and wood-fired small plates) there’s something dish to delight everybody’s taste buds.

Chef Marthinus Ferreira has also adapted his menu for home dining, allowing for five-course, fine dining complete with bread course and friandise. The tasting menu serves two and includes a main-course option of duck ballotine or roasted line fish. He’s also selling individual items which are perfect for these chilly winter days. Go for the hearty roast beef for two, decadent seafood mac ’n cheese or cream of tomato soup served with bocconcini and basil pesto.

Cafe del Sol
Those looking for their Italian fix will be thrilled to know this family-run group have kept their Classico (Olivedale) and Botanico (Bryanston) eateries open, with a host of their warm and comforting dishes available at their online Deli Via. Indulge in a selection of nonna’s pastas — such as the comforting ragu — or wood-fired pizzas with a host of toppings, from margarita to quatro stagioni. If it’s steak you’re craving, The Local Grill has revived their kerbside collection menu. From gourmet burgers to slow-cooked lamb shanks and, of course, the grill’s famous aged beef cuts (with the option of their superb sauces), the restaurant is packaging it all for your indulgence. Add a selection of sides — pap, mash, wedges or salads — and a homemade chocolate brownie or two for a steakhouse experience at home.
