The décor
Courtesy of ATTIK design, the interior is all about texture — the heritage brickwork, rose gold finishes and velvety seating offset by sleek herringbone tiles and subdued charcoal and emerald tones. It’s luxe without feeling fussy.
The menu
The food is all about simple flavours; the portions modest and restrained, allowing you to work your way through starters, mains and dessert without feeling like a glut. While the menu is seasonal and changes according to the availability of fresh produce, you are guaranteed a concise but pleasing range that will satisfy meat lovers and veggies alike.
The drinks
Sup from a curated selection of SA’s finest wines and bubbles, with the usual suspects as well as some refreshingly novel features on the menu — most of which are available in carafe portions. There is also a gleaming bar at the entrance, so if you’re after a pre-or post-dinner beer, cocktail or aperitif, they’ve got you covered.
The service
The service is professional, attentive and warm; the staff knowledgeable and sure about their dishes and recommendations.
