What a gloriously apt collaboration – where ceramics meets art history. Mervyn Gers has teamed up with The Walter Batiss Company to produce a limited release of a series of large plates and large, flat bowls. The designs – there are 18 to choose from – are some of Batiss’s most famous images, including Foot & Dove and Fook Coin 1974. Each design is only available in a series of 200 and they’re made to order – typically taking six to eight weeks. So, if you’re a fan of Batiss and Gers, add to your ceramic collection with one (or more) of these.
