Omar worked with rose and yellow gold as base metals to hold her selected gems; emeralds are her most revered stone and feature prominently in the collection.

Crafted confectionery and bespoke jewellery are mainstays of luxury and opulence; so it shouldn’t be a surprise then that an award winning baker and purveyor of all things sweet has teamed up with Charles Greig Jewellers to craft a collection of unique adornments.
Charles Greig has supplied jewellery and fine watches in SA for more than a century, while Faaiza Omar has spent more than 20 years honing her baking skills and culinary design.

“I think minimalist is best, as it allows the jewels to tell their own story and really shine,” Omar says. “We have designed our high-jewellery pieces for the collection in this way — alluring, or those who like to convey a sense of exclusivity and mystery.”
The Beechwood Collection comprises 40 pieces featuring earrings, ear cuffs, necklaces, bracelets, pendants and rings.
