According to WWD, the fresh culinary establishment will open doors in spring 2020 on none other than Los Angeles' swanky Rodeo Drive retail strip, marking the second restaurant opened by the Kering-owned luxury giant and the first outside of Italy.

Gucci Garden in Florence — a boutique, exhibition space and restaurant Gucci Osteria — and a passion project by company C.E.O. Marco Bizzarri and esteemed three-Michelin-star chef Massimo Bottura, was inaugurated in January 2018, and was awarded its first Michelin star in November this year.

In conversation with Robb Report, Bottura said: "Just like the Gucci Osteria in Florence, we want it to be fun and casual Italian". So diners can expect dishes that fuse Italian cuisine with West Coast city culture — and of course, vibrant, lavish décor thanks to Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele.
