Your Nespresso machine is your ticket to travel the world through a cup of coffee — and the brand has just added three exciting new destinations to your itinerary.

With the latest additions to its World Explorations* range of espresso capsules, which is inspired by the vibrant coffee cultures of cities around the globe, Nespresso transports you to Istanbul, Paris and Rio de Janeiro at the touch of a button:

World Explorations Istanbul Espresso

The inspiration behind the brew: Famed for its traditional coffeehouses, the Turkish city of Istanbul was a crossroads on ancient coffee trade routes.

The taste: Thick and velvety in homage to traditional Turkish coffee, this blend of Ethiopian Arabica and Indian Robusta is as cosmopolitan as the crowd gathered in an Istanbul coffeehouse. It’s an intense ambrosial brew bursting with boldness and wild ripe fruits, yet also has a delicate almond touch.

How to drink it like a local: Accompany your coffee with a glass of water and a piece of Turkish Delight.

Mix it up: Combine Istanbul Espresso with honeyed milk and the nutty sweetness of pistachios to create an Istanbul Silky Crunch; click here for the recipe.

World Explorations Paris Espresso is the star of the Paris Cafe Gourmandise, a decadent drink that's a beautiful balance of bitter and sweet.

World Explorations Paris Espresso

The inspiration behind the brew: France’s capital city has a rich cafe culture with more than 35,000 cafes and coffee-serving restaurants where locals enjoy philosophising over a cup of coffee.

The taste: Delicately bitter with cereal and citrus notes, Paris Espresso is a balanced blend of lightly roasted Latin American Arabicas that’s emboldened by Vietnamese Robusta.

How to drink it like a local: Enjoy your cup black or as a cafe au lait accompanied by a French pastry.

Mix it up: Top a shot of Paris Espresso with creamy cappuccino foam and a macron to create a Paris Cafe Gourmandise; click here for the recipe.

World Explorations Rio de Janeiro Espresso

The inspiration behind the brew: Brazil has a deep-rooted heritage of coffee growing and drinking. In fact, it's the world's largest coffee-producing country.

The taste: Rio de Janeiro Espresso embodies lively spirit of one of Brazil’s most colourful cities. This is an intense, exotic and velvety espresso, crafted exclusively with Brazilian Arabicas, boasting a unique touch of sandalwood, along with herbal notes.

How to drink it like a local: Double your espresso with hot water to taste the smooth à la  Carioca coffee that you’d typically enjoy at a cafe in Rio.

Mix it up: Get a taste of Brazilian summer by combining Rio de Janeiro Espresso with brown sugar, lime and sparkling water to create an Iced Tropical Rio; click here for the recipe.

The three new variants in the World Explorations range are available in Nespresso stores nationwide and online.

*The World Explorations range is compatible with the Nespresso Original system only.
