The seventh limited-edition release in Glenmorangie’s Bond House No. 1 Collection is named after a 19th- century warehouse that now serves as the distillery’s still house. Distilled in 1997, it initially matured for 10 years in ex-bourbon casks before spending the next 13 years in Château Montrose red-wine casks from Saint-Estèphe in France. Dramatically different from any other Glenmorangie, this 23-year-old limited edition showcases extraordinary red-fruit depths and candied sweetness. Each bottle is numbered and priced at R15 000 per unit.
