Get the best of two worlds with new editions of The Macallan Double Cask
The story of The Macallan Double Cask 15 and 18 Year Old spans the verdant forests of the new and old worlds

The Macallan has done it again, and just in time for winter, too. Following on the release of its Double Cask 12 Year Old in 2016, the new The Macallan Double Cask 15 and 18 Year Old are the perfect fusions of American and European sherry-seasoned oak casks.
The story of The Macallan Double Cask 15 and 18 Year Old spans the verdant forests of the new and old worlds. Oak from the hillsides of Spain and the slopes of the Pyrenees is sourced along with newer oak from Ohio and Kentucky to craft sherry casks that are aged and seasoned to perfection. These casks are then sent to The Macallan’s distillery in Speyside, Scotland, where they are used to house The Macallan’s new-make spirit and then left to rest.
