To continue encouraging whisky enthusiasts to define taste their way, and to inspire a new generation of whisky drinkers, The Singleton of Dufftown Single Malt Scotch Whisky is adding two perfectly crafted 15- and 18-year-old variants to its existing range, Diageo has announced.

While keeping the smooth, rich nature of The Singleton of Dufftown, both the 15- and 18-year-old variants have been created using specially selected casks to enhance particular elements of the flavour profile.

Both aged range variants were matured, like the 12-year-old, in American and European oak casks.

The Dufftown 15 is an easy-to-enjoy whisky with honey aromas, fresh fruit notes and a dry finish, while the 18 boasts vanilla aromas, hints of toffee and a long, slightly spicy finish.

Diageo South Africa senior reserve brand ambassador Steven Saunders says: “The sensorial experience of this brand is out of this world. This is an exciting season for whisky lovers. The Singleton 15 and 18 make for perfect gifts or keepsakes. Whatever the reason, enjoyment is guaranteed.”

He adds: “There are several ways to experience this liquid on your lips. You can enjoy it as a traditional, signature or cocktail serve. The latter is an exciting and approachable way for new consumers to approach Scotch whisky and for experienced consumers to explore this category.”

Recipes can be found on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The Singleton 15- and 18-year-old have bagged several awards at international spirit festivals over the years.
