Durban-based fashion designer Colleen Eitzen has realised her life-long dream and opened her first stand-alone store in Joburg. Eitzen first established Durban Designers Emporium in 1996, then went on to co-found The Space in 99. While her collections for The Space are focused on making good, fashionable, wearable garments, her new store will stock a luxe range for the discerning customer.
This jewel of a boutique is on the same property as Egg Design in Parktown North, and was created by the Egg Design team. Here you can find her premium range: dipdyed satin kaftans, sequinned garments, tailored jackets and washed and dyed silks. Accessories such as leather flower handbags and silk scarves complement the garments.
