Lucia Pica's annual makeup collection is always a highlight of our beauty calendar, and her new collection for Chanel is no different. This year, the creative director taps into both the absence of colour and the classic colour codes of Coco Chanel with the Noir et Blanc collection.
CROWNING GLORY
It was the opulence of the bottle of K by Dolce & Gabbana, with its crown-shaped cap overlaid with 24-karat gold particles and lapis stones that got our attention, but the citrus-laden woody scent is keeping it. Opening with a medley of citrus fruits such as blood orange, lemon torchio, and grapefruit, the scent develops into a more aromatic heart of clary sage, pimento, and geranium and rich woody base notes.
