When art and purpose intersect, something truly meaningful happens. This is the essence of The Art of Making a Difference, an exciting collaboration between Naked and a selection of talented South African artists.
These creatives were tasked with dreaming up eight original artworks inspired by organisations that are transforming lives across the country: Door of Hope, ForAfrika, Greenpop, Cotlands, Oscars Arc, Good Morning Angels, the Kolisi Foundation, and Jozi Trails.
The resulting pieces celebrate creativity, compassion and courage — the same spirit that drives these organisations to care for children, protect forests, fight hunger and support survivors of abuse.
These striking artworks are available to pre-order online as limited-edition prints and tote bags until November 14. All proceeds will go directly back to the organisations that inspired them as part of the Naked Difference.
“The artists have created stunning artworks that capture how our Naked Difference partners are shaping a better SA,” says Sumarie Greybe, co-founder of Naked.
“We love how these beautiful artworks bring the causes to life and help people connect with the groundbreaking organisations and the dedicated people who work tirelessly to uplift communities and create a brighter future for all.”
What is the Naked Difference?
Unlike traditional insurers, Naked charges a flat fee to cover its running costs, with the rest of the premiums going into a shared pool to pay claims.
At the end of each financial year, any surplus funds left in the claims pool are donated to causes chosen by Naked’s customers through the Naked Difference — ensuring that surplus funds support positive change in South African communities rather than adding to company profits.
Since 2020, the Naked Difference has paid more than R4.3m to organisations making a real difference, including R1.1m in this year’s payout alone.
